THIS IS A JOURNEY, NOT JUST A HORSE RIDE

Every day has a destination.

Dream Treks is not a horse ride where you leave camp in the morning and return to the same place at night.

Instead of staying in one camp and riding around the surrounding area, we travel across the Mongolian countryside from one location to the next.

Our routes have been designed around places connected to Chinggis Khaan and Mongolian history.

You ride through the landscape during the day while our support team transports your luggage and moves the camp.

When you arrive at your next destination, your camp, hot shower and dinner are waiting for you.

You ride. We move the camp.
FOLLOW THE CHINGGIS KHAAN TRAIL

This journey is about more than horseback riding.

The landscape you ride through is part of the history of Mongolia.

During the expedition, you will visit historic locations, monuments, valleys, rivers, monasteries and other places connected to Chinggis Khaan and Mongolia's past.

Our guides explain what happened in these places and why they remain important today.

We want you to experience Mongolian history where it actually happened, rather than only reading about it in a museum.

Every destination has a story.

NEVER RIDDEN A HORSE BEFORE?

That's okay.

You do not need to be an experienced horse rider to join Dream Treks.

Our journeys are designed so that people with limited riding experience can participate.

Most days involve approximately 15–35 km of riding, depending on the terrain, weather and itinerary.

Before the journey begins, our team helps you become comfortable with your horse and explains the basic riding techniques you will need on the trail.

We also match riders with horses according to their riding experience, confidence and physical ability.

The purpose is not to race.
The purpose is to travel through Mongolia on horseback and enjoy the journey.
OUR HORSES

Carefully selected. Professionally trained.

A good horse can completely change your experience in Mongolia.

Our horses are selected for their temperament, reliability and suitability for long-distance trail riding.

Their preparation is supported by experienced Mongolian horsemen and professional equestrian trainers, including trainers with backgrounds in Mongolia's well-known circus and performance horse tradition.

We pay particular attention to horses used for beginner and less-experienced riders. Before the expedition begins, our team will help match you with a suitable horse.

WILD MONGOLIA DOESN'T HAVE TO MEAN ROUGH CAMPING

You are coming to Mongolia for an adventure.

That doesn't mean you shouldn't be able to take a shower, use a proper toilet, eat well and sleep comfortably.

After spending the day riding across the steppe, we want you to arrive at camp and relax.

HOT SHOWER EVERY DAY
Yes, you can take a hot shower during the expedition.

Our mobile camp includes hot shower facilities so you can clean up and relax after a day of riding.

For many travelers, this makes a big difference during a multi-day horseback journey.

PRIVATE TOILETS
You don't have to disappear behind a hill with a shovel.

Our camps include private portable toilet facilities for guests.

It is a simple thing, but on a remote expedition it makes the experience considerably more comfortable.

SLEEP COMFORTABLY
At the end of the day, you need a good night's sleep.

Our expedition tents are designed to give guests more comfort than traditional basic camping.

Depending on the expedition setup, accommodation includes spacious tents, comfortable beds, bedding and lighting.

You still wake up surrounded by the Mongolian wilderness. You just don't have to sleep on the ground to experience it.

GOOD FOOD IS PART OF THE JOURNEY

Horse riding makes you hungry.

Our team prepares breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout the expedition.

Meals combine Mongolian dishes with familiar international food and are prepared to provide enough energy for a full day outdoors.
